Sony Ericsson M600i and W950i

I'm a fan of Sony Ericsson even though up until now compatibility with Outlook was questionable and Exchange nonexistent. I have a K608i (3G) for personal use, which on the whole I'm very happy with, and an Orange C600 for work so that I get Exchange functionality. Something like this could replace the need for two devises.

I am very pleased to see that next in the pipeline from SE are the M600i and W950i (walkman branded version). Both have touch screens and Microsoft ActiveSync!

Take a look at the M600i SE page for the details - UMTS (3G) and GSM (older networks), a decent keyboard for a phone this size, touch screen, all the business functions you'd expect, 80MB built in storage ...

Head over to MobileBurn for a 'hands on review' and more pics.

Videos (not polished in any sense but worth a look): M600i W950i

This is going to win a lot of Windows Smartphone users over as the addition of a touch screen will add flexibility.

  • Colin, your blog looks very promising as do both of these phones!
